Druidry is an ancient spirituality with millenia-old roots. Druids strive to connect with the Divine forces of Nature through ritual, celebration, study, and discussion. We revere trees, animals, land, water, and sky, and all forms of life seen and unseen that dwell in the apparent and hidden realms of Earth.
Northern Roots Grove is a pan-Druid spiritual organization. Our grove is not formally affiliated with any national/international Druid order (ADF, OBOD, RDNA, etc), though many of our members belong to those orders. We hold regular meet-ups in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area.
To learn more about us:
Northern Roots members draw their spiritual beliefs and practices from Celtic, Norse, and other Druidic and Pagan traditions. As a grove we do not require adherence to any particular belief system, but instead welcome all forms of spirituality compatible with a Druidic perspective. We celebrate Nature's cycles through the observance of periodic festivals.
In addition to being partners on a Druidic spiritual path, Northern Roots members enjoy friendship and camaraderie within our grove. We are a family, and we like hanging out together! Throughout the year we participate in group activties and field trips. As a group we have visited the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and Minnesota Irish Festival, and all of our holiday celebrations include potluck feasting and socializing. And we like to laugh!
Northern Roots Grove regularly hosts educational activities in the Twin Cities area and maintains The Mycelium,, an extensive online library of Druidic and Pagan Resources:
Northern Roots Grove strives to create a strong sense of community among members within our grove, with the Twin Cities Pagan community, and with other Druid grove in the midwestern United States. We are commited to our policies of inclusion and safety in all of our communith interactions.
